Build a strong foundation through basic compound movements.

A 60 minute high intensity full body workout. This higher intensity class combines a high intensity, heart pumping spin class with resistance exercises designed to help sculpt your entire body. Targeted at those familiar with spinning.

Get your heart pumping with a cardio and full body workout on the bike for the first 30 minutes of class.


Then stretch your muscles with 30 minutes of yin yoga, a slow paced-style of yoga with postures that are held for longer periods of time.

Looking to crush a workout with your family before a fun weekend? Come join Friday Family Fit for a family-friendly workout, open to all ages and fitness levels! These workouts will be different every week, but will always guarantee a good sweat and a great time!


Summer Cycle

This short and sweet lunchtime spin class is perfect for those new to cycling and/or building up your fitness level. 


Basic principles mixed with hill and seated climbs, intervals and upper body strength exercises.  Fun for all level riders!


Vinyasa Yoga

This 60 minute class combines movement and breathing while balancing the mind and body. Using a flowing sequence of yoga poses, you'll connect to your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels, helping to relieve anxiety and stress. Breathe in...breathe out.  Relax.

This class will focus on the glutes and core -- two major muscle groups that are often neglected -- through functional, fun exercise!

These muscles will be targeted through a mix of strength training and high intensity interval training.

This evidence-based, hour-long, 3-day per week  program helps older adults at all levels of fitness become more active, energized, and empowered to sustain independent lives. You will  improve physical conditioning and decrease risk of falling using a series of proven cardiovascular and strength building exercises.

Uses a variety of light to moderate weights/objects at home along with exercise equipment to strengthen muscles and joints, build bone density, and increase overall fitness. Instruction is modified to fit each participants' current fitness level. This a great class to work on your fitness goals

Strength N' Stroll

8:00am - 8:30am

A 60 minute class of exercises using your own weights if you have them for the upper body, lower body and abdominals.  These weighted exercises are paired with laps (walk or jog)in place or through your empty streets to keep your heart rate pumping! Perfect for individuals of all ages.

Couch to 5K Running

June29th - August 22nd

This running program designed for beginners 13 and older will take you from your couch to a 5K in 8 weeks by showing you proper form and pacing needed to successfully complete a 5K event. On 8/22 you will participate in the  Doc & Mardie 5K (included in program fees). FMI,

Sole Mates Walking Club

Meet at AYCC Parking Lot

Daily Mondays - Fridays

7:00am - 8:00am Aug 10th - Oct 30th 

12-week Fall Foliage Focus walking program for active older adults will build endurance, strength and social connectedness with this daily brisk 1.5 mile  loop starting and ending at the AYCC parking lot.

Limited to 20 participants, 2 groups of 10, and Free for all current members!

Following all CDC and State of Maine guidelines.



Social Distancing Workout Stations

Each single member workout station maintains a minimum of 6 feet distance from all others.

Please follow all signage and visual cues as reminders for social distancing.

Health Checks/Temperature

Testing will be administered before participating

Please arrive 15 minutes before workout begins.

Any staff or member with a fever of 100 degrees or higher will be asked to leave and not return until fever-free


Members will be required to sign an updated membership waiver including language specific to COVID-19.

Active Aging Adult Members

Will be offered separate class times - stay tuned for days and times

Face Coverings

Required for Members and Staff, especially when a minimum safe distance of 6 feet cannot be maintained.


Disinfectant spray provided at each workout station for members to wipe down equipment before and after use.

Hand sanitizer will also be available.

Staff will disinfect equipment before and after every class.

Gear:  Members must bring your own water bottles and workout towels.
