Whether your child's passion is photography, exercise or practical science he or she has the opportunity to learn from and participate in one of our ever evolving Clubs in the After School Program.

The AYCC After School Program is fully accredited and licensed by the Maine Department of Health & Human Services.

Within our state-of-the-art facility your child has access to the finest programs available for a small weekly fee.

   

PROGRAM PROVISIONS

  • Licensed for children ages 6-12

  • AYCC Membership is required (cost of $40 annually)

  • A hot, nutritious meal after school

  • A wide variety of activities in our triple gymnasium

  • Making friends in a fun atmosphere

  • Participation in the

    • Homework Club

    • Power Hour

    • Project Learn sponsored by JC Penney

  • Exploring and learning in our supervised Technology Center

    • Net Smartz

    • Club Tech

  • Immersion Learning Program

  • Swim time in our two heated, indoor pools

  • Activities in the Gronk Zone youth fitness area

  • Playing outside with friends.

  • Finding creative passions in our Arts & Crafts Classroom

  • Forming relationships with positive role models

  • Special events, such as holiday parties

Fees               

$65.00/week per child

                      

In-Service Days, Snow Days & Holidays are included in the After School Program price.

Vacation Camps require are separate programs from the ASP. As such, they require additional registration and have a separate fee associated with them.

Holiday Childcare Schedule

OPEN on Indigenous Peoples Day, Veterans Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents Day, and Patriots Day.

Annual Membership Required

Youth Membership $40/year

Family Membership $50/month

Fees       2:30-5:30pm          $13.00/day  OR  $65.00/week

  • Families must choose a 2, 3, or 5 day schedule for each week at registration and are responsible for paying their chosen schedule fee weekly, regardless of attendance or holidays such as Labor or Memorial Day.

  • Changes to the ongoing schedule must be given to the Coordinator two weeks prior to the change. Billing will be adjusted accordingly.

  • Holidays are now included in the weekly fee.

  • School Vacations are on an as needed basis and do not require regular weekly fee schedule. Families must let the Coordinator know which days the child will attend during School Vacations and then will be billed accordingly.

3rd Party Billing

Only available for ASP Waterville & Atwood and Early Childcare Programs

 

Unless families are paying personally this process MUST BE COMPLETED & APPROVED PRIOR to your child(ren) attending the program.

 

Most common: Transitional Child Care (TCC) andChild Care Subsidy Program (CCSP) 

 

Transitional Child Care (TCC) You may qualify if you can reply “yes” to these conditions: 

  1. You have received TANF in the last 12 months

  2. You have been open TCC in the last 30 days

  3. You have earnings at the time TANF closed, and are working now

To verify this qualification contact the Child Care Unit at (207) 624-5200,  childcare.dhhs@maine.gov

or visit your local DDHS office for more information.  

 

Child Care Subsidy Program (CCSP)  Three ways to apply:

  1. Print  Child Care Subsidy Application;

  2. Call: 1-877-680-5866 or (207) 624-7999 Mon - Fri 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  3. Visit local DHHS Office for a printed application. Find your local DHHS Office  or call the numbers above.

New submissions may take up to 30 days. Apply today! If you have been denied for these services in the last 3 months, please submit a denial letter along with your ASP registration.
