UPDATED 5/21/21

Dear Valued Members, Program Participants and Staff:

Since the onset of this pandemic we have followed both Federal CDC and Maine DECD guidelines and recommendations as well as the Governor's Executive Orders so our facility can remain open and we can continue to provide programs and activities that support our Mission in the safest way possible.

We have done so through the lens of our values: HONESTY, CARING, RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY and are grateful to everyone for your continued support. The AYCC is proud to be a resource for families and individuals set on improving their health and wellness, even during the pandemic.

What this means for you at the AYCC ...

The AYCC’s Pandemic Regulations, effective Monday, May 24, 2021.

  • Masks will no longer be required by anyone in the facility or on any AYCC properties, with the following exceptions:

    • All childcare staff, families and registered youth will continue to wear face coverings at all times in our Childcare, Camp and Child Watch Programs.

    • Anyone entering MaineGeneral areas or participating in MaineGeneral programming will continue to wear masks, per current health care guidelines.

    • Masks are recommended for guests who are not fully vaccinated.

  • Scanning into the facility will continue to be required, however, capacity limits will return to pre-pandemic levels.

  • Temperature Readings, Health Screenings and Social Distancing are no longer required.

  • Reservations for open swims and water aerobics classes in the Lap & Therapy Pools are no longer required.

  • Reservations for Wellness/Fitness Classes are no longer required. There may be some classes requiring registration (i.e. Teen Power Hour).

We thank you for your continued patience and support as we continue to base our regulations on these changing guidelines. Please remember that we all have our own beliefs and that we should all exercise patience, compassion, and respect to each other.
