Effective 2/19/22 the AYCC will no longer be requiring masks for all users of the AYCC.
The AYCC will continue to strongly recommend that individuals wear masks, in particular when social distancing is not possible. In addition the AYCC will continue to provide surgical masks and will now be providing KN95 masks to staff, members & guests whom wish to wear masks with higher levels of individual protection when properly worn.
The AYCC also requires that CDC guidelines for mask wearing are strictly adhered to when individuals are released from quarantine following COVID19 infection.
Thank you for your continued cooperation in providing an environment when everyone can feel safe, welcomed and supported at the AYCC.

AYCC follows all CDC Guidelines
Thank you for your continued support of the AYCC through the COVID-19 Pandemic. These have been challenging times for all and we appreciate you choosing us as a place to go for childcare, athletics & wellness pursuits.
In order to continue to operate at full capacity, the AYCC Safety Committee and Board of Directors recently met to determine new protocols for temporary universal masking at all AYCC Facilities, regardless of vaccination status.
This protocol will be effective Friday, December 10
with a scheduled date to re-evaluate on January 6, 2022.
We thank everyone entering the AYCC for respecting this protocol and role modeling the behaviors we hope to pass on to youth.
Together we make the AYCC a safe & welcoming place for all.
Thank you for your understanding and compliance!
AYCC COVID Masking Protocol Update Effective 1/10/22
Dear AYCC Community,
The AYCC universal masking requirement for individuals 5 and over originally announced on 12/10/21 has been re-evaluated by the AYCC Safety Committee and will remain in effect until COVID community transmission rates reduced to moderate or low transmission. These guidelines mirror the recommendations by the CDC and Maine CDC for masking (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/about-face-coverings.html).
Under these guidelines, fully vaccinated individuals would be permitted to remove masks once transmission rates are moderate or low, and unvaccinated individuals would be permitted to removed masks once transmission rates are low
Information regarding current community transmission levels and how they are determined can be located here: https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#datatracker-home
We appreciate all of our members and guests adhering to these protocols by following the CDC directions regarding proper mask selection & fit. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/about-face-coverings.html
Thank You for adhering to our facility protocols when visiting the AYCC.
AYCC COVID Masking Protocol Effective 12/10/21
Due to high rates of COVID-19 community transmission the AYCC Board of Directors under the recommendation of the AYCC Safety Committee is implementing facility wide universal masking for all individuals 5 years old & above, regardless of vaccination status.
The AYCC also requests that members continue the practices of social distancing of 6’ or more whenever possible.
This protocol is in response to continued designation by the CDC within Kennebec & Somerset Counties being rated as “High” for community transmission of COVID-19.
