Evidence-based, hour-long, 3-day/week program helps older adults at all levels of fitness become more active, energized, and empowered to sustain independent lives.
You will improve physical conditioning and decrease risk of falling using a series of proven cardiovascular and strength building exercises.

Build Your Own Bones” was created to improve balance, posture and enhance energy and wellbeing. Studies show that adults 55+ who participate in a weight training program twice weekly for a year, gained an average of 1 percent of bone density annually. This class is designed to increase bone density by using ankle weights, hand weights, and participating in warm-up and cool-downs along with balance exercises. This class relies upon weight training and balance exercises to protect against fractures caused by osteoporosis, osteopenia and other bone/mass related illnesses by increasing muscular strength, balance and bone density. Beginners are welcome!
