Movement + Mobility Specialist, John McCabe is a former college athlete who holds a master’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Maine and is an accredited member of the American College of Sports Medicine. He brings a deep knowledge of exercise physiology, nutrition, and movement to his work, which is a rare find in a fitness trainer. This expertise allows him to work with a wide range of clients; from young to old, he adapts his approach to each client’s needs.
Group Fitness Instructor
Jeanine has a strong passion for outdoor cycling with all area bicycle clubs. She brings her outdoor passion indoors through the winter months to keep cyclist legs in shape. Her indoor cycling class is set up for all types of riders. In the spring she will transfer this class to riding outside for the summer months. Jeanine also leads the Pedal for Parkinson’s class that is aimed to improve the lives of those living with Parkinson’s disease by maintaining an active lifestyle. Jeanine is a certified WIT’s Personal Trainer, certified Spinning Instructor, and certified Pedaling for Parkinson’s Instructor.

Wellness Center Assistant
After training as a dancer, Tanya Sheehan began teaching group exercise to youth and adults in 2000. Her fitness classes—including PiYo, Cardio Kick, and jazz funk—have been offered at athletic programs and dance studios across New England. When she is not breaking a sweat, Tanya serves on the faculty of the Art Department at Colby College.
Rich joins us as part of the MaineGeneral Medical Center Sports Medicine Teams, where he has worked since 2007. He earned his bachelor's in Exercise Science with a concentration in Athletic Training, is certified as an Athletic Trainer, and is a State of Maine licensed healthcare provider. Rich's expertise lies in outpatient rehabilitation and Athletic Training services and sports event coverage for middle school, high school, and college athletes.

Athletic Trainer Coordinator
Shannon’s classes incorporate graceful gentle sequences, therapeutic assists, mindful meditation, and blissful guided relaxation for a balanced yoga experience. As a bachelor level licensed nurse (BSN, RN) and a, soon to be, nurse practitioner in psychiatric and mental health, Shannon has a passion for working with people of all abilities and levels. Kenny started training in boxing at the age of 12 year old and was an amateur boxer in NYC for 10 years. With an additional 20 years of training and practice in martial arts, Kenny began a career in personal training in 2009 while continuing his education in physical therapy and nutrition. Specializing in strength and endurance training, body weight movement, calisthenics and functional training, Kenny teaches beginner boxing, timed interval training and capoeira.
Jeanette has a passion for fitness and helping people of all ages and abilities reach their personal fitness goals. She enjoys working with groups and one-on-one. Jeanette prides herself creating exercise programs that keep you engaged and coming back for more.
Her Tai Chi classes improve strength, flexibility and balance....not to mention reduce stress.
