Join us for the 20th Annual Doc & Mardie 5K and Youth 1-Mile Fun Run!
Lace up for one of Waterville’s favorite fitness traditions! The Doc & Mardie 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run returns on Saturday, August 23 – a community celebration of health, family, and the lasting legacy of two incredible local icons, Doc & Mardie Brown.
Whether you’re a seasoned runner, weekend walker, or cheering from the sidelines, this event is for all ages and fitness levels.
The Doc & Mardie 5k and Kids 1 Mile Fun Run is an ALL AGES run/walk in honor of Doc & Mardie Brown. This is truly and all ages affair, with parents pushing babies in strollers to our active older runners. It’s a fun family event for every generation!
In the spirit of Doc & Mardie, who were avid active older adults, there is even awards for the oldest Male and Female finishers!
Race Details:
- Saturday, August 23 @ the AYCC
- Youth 1-Mile Fun Run begins at 8:15 am
- 5K begins at 9:00 am
- Youth Fun Run $5/child (increases to $10/child after July 27)
- 5K is $25/person (increases to $30/person after July 27)
