Overnight & Day Camps include professional, caring instruction from experienced and dedicated staff in your child’s chosen sport.

Safe and wholesome recreation at our traditional camp. Our 32-acre camp facility is nestled in the trees on the beautiful McGrath Pond in Oakland, Maine.

Get ready, athletes! Registration for New England Sports Camps opens November 1st. Whether your child is passionate about baseball, field hockey, football, or softball, our camps provide expert coaching and an action-packed summer. Reserve their spot early and help them level up their skills while making unforgettable memories on the field!

Affordable Access Opportunities for Overnight Camps!

The AYCC is excited to offer two Affordable Access Opportunities for overnight camps at Camp Tracy! Please note that these grants are currently available for the 2024 camp season and may not be available for future years.

Allen Group Overnight Camp Access

  • Limited to 6 individuals.
  • Camper must be a registered participant for New England Sports Camps, Adventure or Excursion overnight camps.
  • Requirements – submit a one-page letter about why they would like to attend an overnight camp at Camp Tracy. Letters may be submitted in person at the Welcome Center or submitted by email to camps@clubaycc.org
  • Deadline May 31, 2024

YMCA 2024 Overnight Camp Access Scholarships Grant

  • Camper must be a registered participant for New England Sports Camps, Adventure or Excursion overnight camps.
  • Family must complete AYCC Affordable Access Program Application (formerly known as Financial Aid Application)
    • Include one month household income information (pay stubs, state/federal aid information, or latest income tax return (income pages).
    • Submit to the Welcome Center or email to programbilling@clubaycc.org

MAINE’S FENWAY PREMIER BASEBALL CAMP & NEW ENGLAND BASEBALL CAMP

Traditional Camp Experience

Sports Instruction

  • Proper defensive fielding fundamentals

  • Base coverage for all positions

  • Situational defense such as double plays, rundowns, holding runners on the bases, and getting the lead runner out

  • Base running, stealing, tagging up, pass balls, aggressive leads, sliding techniques, dive backs

  • Offensive skills using proper form at hitting stations and bunting

  • Catching and pitching fundamentals

  • Baseball skills competitions

  • Trivia games & other contests

New England Sports Camps Directors

Abbie Charrier
Abbie Charrier
AYCC Youth Programs Director

Abbie graduated Cum Laude from Thomas College with her Bachelors of Science in Sport Management. At Thomas she played Field Hockey, was a three year captain for the Terriers and was named to the NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad three times. She received her Masters of Business Administration with a focus in Athletic Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. She has coached for Waterville High School Varsity Field Hockey since 2018. Abbie grew up in coastal Maine, attending adventure and sports camps. She has years of experience coaching at field hockey camps and clinics and is currently coaching at Waterville Senior High School. Abbie joined the AYCC team in March, 2017 and became Camp Director in the Fall of 2019 and most recently was promoted to Youth Programs Director for the AYCC. She resides in Oakland and is a proud mom to cat, Rosie and dog, Murphy.

Patrick Kearns

AYCC Camp Director

Patrick is originally from Hampden, Maine, but attended Emerson College in Boston before beginning his career at the YMCA of Greater Boston. After working in Aquatics for nearly 10 years, he was hired as the Aquatics Director at the East Boston YMCA, where he developed innovative programs, such as Spanish-taught swim lessons and a Ladies’ Night program designed for Muslim women. Now, he works as the Camp Director for the Alfond Youth & Community Center! In his childhood, Patrick was a Boy Scout, and has a deep appreciation for camping in Maine. Now, he feels blessed to get to share that passion with the AYCC family!
