Maggie has been an athlete her whole life, having played multiple sports and dancing for 10 years, competing with her dance team. Maggie graduated from Messalonskee High School and attended the University of Maine at Augusta for 2 years, studying mental health. She loves helping people learn new things, like how to use fitness equipment! Maggie is excited about the unique opportunity as Wellness Director, to lead the Wellness Team and help the community achieve its wellness goals.

Jamie Williams

As a graduate of Waterville High School, Jamie was a well-rounded Varsity athlete in soccer, basketball, and indoor and outdoor track. He went on to attend UMaine Farmington with a dual major in Psychology & Community Health Education, with a focus on Physical Education. Jamie competed athletically at the collegiate level and received multiple conference recognitions for his success in cross country. Jamie has been an integral part of the AYCC’s team as Health Coordinator for more than 6 years and leads youth fitness as well as extremely popular active older adult classes.

Lori Albee

Lori began her wellness journey in 2008 as a water aerobics instructor and taught classes for sixteen years. During that time, she discovered Zumba, which reignited her love for dancing so she became a certified Zumba instructor in 2018. Lori holds certifications as a Zumba Gold Instructor and Water Aerobics. In October, Lori returned home to Maine from Louisiana where she spent the last 18 years. She has three daughters and eight grandchildren who bless her life everyday .

Brittany Cates

Brittany began dancing at the age of 3 and continued all the way through college as a dance minor at the University of Maine. Throughout her dance career she learned the fundamentals of Pilates, strength and conditioning, and the importance of mind-body connection, mobility, and core strength both in the studio and in everyday life. Brittany is excited to share how these practices can enrich both physical and mental health.

Jill Davenport

Certified Yoga Instructor & 200 hour Vinyasa Registered Yoga Teacher

Jill is a 200 hour Registered Yoga Instructor who has been practicing various modalities and styles of yoga for the past 20 years. She's very familiar with pre and postnatal yoga also, as she practiced through all three of her pregnancies so she's a great resource for mammas and is currently working on her Reiki 1 & 2 Certification, which she infuses into her work.

Growing up in Waterville Wyatt attended multiple programs including our After School Program. For him choosing a job in a fitness center was only natural as he was raised around weightlifting and participated in martial arts like Jujitsu and MMA. Wyatt has worked at the Wellness Center desk for two years and then took a course to become a Group Fitness Instructor. He enjoys working with youth of all ages and teaching morning weightlifting classes too.

Meg Loubier is resident of Winslow and has been teaching yoga and ballet for over 20 years. She recently fell in love with spin and is now teaching Sunset Spin on Wednesday nights. Spin is a fun and upbeat class with great energy that provides a great workout and gets you sweating and smiling! Meg loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking and spending time with her family.

Lucy joins the team with over 15 years of experience as a spin instructor and leading group fitness classes in Boston. A two-sport collegiate athlete, Lucy turned to marathon running (The Boston Marathon being her favorite!) and road biking as a way to stay active post-college. As a working mom of two children, she knows the struggles of finding time to exercise! She understands that working parents have a small amount of time to exercise, which is why she leads a fun, upbeat spin class that will be sure to give you a great workout while having fun! Lucy is co-President of the PTA in her community and on the Board of the Children’s Discovery Museum in Waterville.

Originally from Connecticut, Sara has been a Zumba® Fitness Instructor for 10 years and is happy to be able to bring the class to AYCC! Sara's love for Latin dance started at a young age, coming from a Colombian family where music is a staple of everyday life, and her love for fitness started in college at UCONN. She discovered how fitness can provide discipline, perseverance, and positivity to all aspects of life and she loves to help her students achieve these qualities as well!

Rich Garini

Rich joins us as part of the MaineGeneral Medical Center Sports Medicine Teams, where he has worked since 2007. He earned his bachelor's in Exercise Science with a concentration in Athletic Training, is certified as an Athletic Trainer, and is a State of Maine licensed healthcare provider. Rich's expertise lies in outpatient rehabilitation and Athletic Training services and sports event coverage for middle school, high school, and college athletes.
