Child Watch

Discover a piece of mind with our Child Watch service. This free-to-active-members program is designed to keep your little ones safe and secure while you take time for yourself; whether it be by participating in a group fitness class, hitting the weights, or swimming a laps in the pool. Our attentive staff are certified in CPR and First-Aid, and many also work in our licensed childcare sites which require ongoing professional early childhood training.  

• Included in active AYCC Adult, Senior, and Family Memberships.
• Youth must be active members, either with their own youth membership or attached to a family membership.
• Reservations are required 24 hours in advance by calling the Welcome Center at 207-873-0684. 
• Space may be available on a drop-in basis, but is not guaranteed.

  • Monday-Friday from 9:00-11:00 am
  • Closes for summer as of June 13, 2025

Notes:

• Moving to the first floor, childcare area for enhanced safety
• Child Watch will not be offered during summer, school vacations, or snow days.

NinjAdventure Zone

The former Adventure Playland is the home of the climbing wall, ninja course, and indoor play area. Our renovations are now complete, and we have added a youth and adult ninja obstacle course and a lil’ ninja obstacle area too!

Youth Membership & Daily Guest Rates are $15.00/person.

Open Gymnasium Hours

Monday-Friday – 12:00-4:45 pm (Gym 1 only)

It is best to call our Welcome Center DAILY for the latest gym availability. Our in-house programs, such as childcare, camp and athletic teams have first priority over open gym times. Daily guest fees are $15.00/person.
