Summer is right around the corner—and there’s no better place to beat the heat, make memories, and have fun than the Alfond Municipal Pool Complex (AMPC)! Whether you’re looking to swim laps, splash with the kids, host a pool party, or just soak up the sun, the AMPC is your go-to summer destination in Waterville.

The outdoor pool season kicks off Saturday, June 21 from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM. We’re pulling out all the stops to make this season the best yet, so grab your sunscreen, round up your crew, and jump in!
- Regular Hours
- Monday-Friday – 12:30-6:00 pm
- Saturdays & Sundays – 11:00 am-5:30 pm
Season Passes: Big Value, All Summer Long
If you plan to visit more than a few times this season, a Season Pass is the best deal for the most fun! Not only do pass holders save on daily admission, they also enjoy early access opportunities and easier entry during peak times. Note: Memberships at the AYCC do NOT include access to the Alfond Municipal Pool.
Waterville residents receive discount rates thanks to a subsidy from the City of Waterville. The pool is owned by the City and the AYCC partners with them to offer fun in the sun all summer long!
Get your season pass by visiting the AYCC (126 North Street) between now and June 20! Once the pool opens, passes will be available at the pool counter. Additionally, the AYCC offers the Affordable Access Program for financial assistance with season passes. Application & proof of income are required.

Cash and cards are excepted at the counter.
Pool Rentals & Group Reservations
Planning a birthday party, team outing, or private event? Our pool is available for rentals during select times, and group admission discounts are available for camps, schools, and other organizations.
Rental Options Include:

Swim Lessons & More
We’re proud to offer swim lessons for ages 6 months and up! Our lessons are taught by certified instructors who specialize in building confidence and skills in the water. Classes fill up quickly, so don’t wait to sign up.
Things to Know Before You Go
- Be sure to pack sunscreen, hats, and other protective sun gear. Plus suits & towels too!
- Snacks and beverages (non-alcoholic) are recommended, but we have concessions too!
- Slides are for individuals 48″ and up – our pool counter staff will measure your child.
- Flotation devices must be US Coast Guard approved to be used at the AMPC.
- This is a place for families, appropriate language and behavior is expected at all times.
- We are also alcohol, tobacco, vape, marijuana, and drug free!
- The City of Waterville, the AYCC & the AMPC are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
