Falling Into Balance: An 8-Week Wellness Reset

Bethany is a Master Nutrition Therapist specializing in holistic nutrition. Bethany believes that nutrition doesn’t need to be complicated to be effective. With a practical, compassionate, and personalized approach, she helps individuals simplify their relationship with food and build sustainable, healthy habits that last. Bethany focuses primarily on women’s health, helping women to feel strong, vibrant, and healthy throughout all stages of life, from fertility through menopause. She resides in Portland with her husband and three children.
Nutrition & Sports Medicine Services with MaineGeneral

We are proud to partner with MaineGeneral’s Peter Alfond Prevention & Healthy Living Center (PAPHLC) and host office space here at the AYCC on the second floor. Our partnership with MaineGeneral Health brings our members even more opportunities to live well. Through this collaboration, AYCC members have access to a wide variety of prevention and healthy living classes that support whole-person wellness, right here in our community.
PAPHLC Classes held here at the AYCC are included in the AYCC membership, making it easier than ever to add healthy habits to your daily routine. Additional classes may require a small fee or may be hosted at other locations, giving you flexible options to fit your schedule and wellness goals.
From nutrition education and stress management to fitness, heart health, and beyond, these programs are designed to help you take a proactive approach to your health and create lasting lifestyle changes.
A MaineGeneral Sports Medicine Athletic Trainer is also available at the AYCC to help you maintain an active lifestyle, no matter your age or experience level. If you have pain, or an injury related to your physical activity, an athletic trainer can perform an evaluation to help determine an appropriate plan of care to keep you active.
On-site Athletic Training services include:
- Acute & chronic injury evaluations
- Initial treatment and care of sports injuries
- Rehabilitation exercise programs
- Referral assistance to medical specialists

Personal Training Services with the AYCC

At the AYCC, our *Certified Personal Trainers (CPT) are here to help you reach your fitness goals with expert guidance, motivation, and support. Whether you’re just starting your fitness journey, returning after a break, or looking to take your training to the next level, our team will design a customized workout plan that fits your needs, abilities, and lifestyle.
With one-on-one attention, proper technique instruction, and encouragement every step of the way, our personal trainers make fitness safe, effective, and rewarding. From strength training and weight loss support to sports performance and functional fitness, we’ll help you build confidence, improve health, and achieve lasting results.
All AYCC members receive one free personal training consultation upon joining.
