Back to Basics - Gronk Zone w/Kenny

Tues & Thurs 6:00-7:00pm

Build a strong foundation through basic compound movements; suited for anyone looking to begin or maintain a fitter version of themselves!

Basics of Boxing - Group Fitness Studio w/Justin

Mon & Fri 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

The AYCC will now be offering a “Basics of Boxing” class for people to learn and practice basic boxing techniques, while getting great core and cardio workouts to boot! Classes will feature mitt-work, footwork drills, calisthenics and stretching! Participants will be taught the types of punches, how to slip, how to clinch, and more! This is a beginner level class, but all skill levels are welcome! Come build confidence, stay in shape, and polish your skills! 

Boot Camp - Gronk Zone w/Maggie

Tues & Thurs 5:00-6:15 am

A challenging but fun and supportive 60 minute workout! This workout consists of cardiovascular conditioning, strength training (weights, stability balls, resistance bands, medicine balls, Glides, kettlebells), and stretching.

Cardio Kickboxing - Group Fitness Studio w/Dawn

Wed 5:00-6:00 pm

This fast-paced class is sure to get you sweating in the first five minutes! This class involves basic kickboxing moves mixed with aerobics. Dynamic and lively, this class is geared for people who are comfortable with jumping, squatting, and moving quickly. This class is beginner -friendly but we welcome all levels!

Chair Yoga - Group Fitness Studio w/Jill

Tues & Thurs 10:00-11:00 am

Chair Yoga consists of gentle and meditative yoga focused on body positive positions. In this class, we will help to assist all participants through adapting a variety of yoga techniques.  All levels of experience are welcome to join and participate. 

Early Bird Spin - Group Fitness Studio w/Maggie

Mon & Wed 5:00-6:00 am

Wake up and get ready to start your week right with some early morning spin! Hill climbs, sprints, and fun all packed into a half hour. Perfect for those who want to get an efficient workout in before the workday!

Don’t let an ache or pain prevent you from participating in your favorite activities, or worse, turn into an injury.  A MaineGeneral Sports Medicine Athletic Trainer is on site to assess your activity related health concerns and provide immediate care and guidance to get you back in the game.  Best of all, it’s part of your membership at the AYCC.

HIIT It - Low Impact - Indoor Track w/Maggie

Tues & Thurs 9:00-10:00 am

Tired of running in circles? During this High Intensity Interval Training class you will run, walk, or jog around the track, stopping at various stations along the way. With the addition of bands, weights, and TRX, your laps around the track will never be boring!

Pilates - Group Fitness Studio 

Mon & Wed 6:15-7:15 pm AND Sat 9:00-10:00 am

Come join us for a great workout and a lot of fun with our new instructor Brittany Cates.  This class will be challenging but also entertaining with an environment for all fitness levels.  Follow along as we focus on full body strengthening, core strengthening, and posture, balance, and tone! 

Sunset Spin - Group Fitness Studio w/Erin

Wed 7:30-8:30 pm

Come join us for an hour full of fun, uplifting music, and exercise.  Everything from hills, sprints, climbs, and a variation too! New spinners welcome! This class is built for all levels with modifications to meet all experience levels.


Teen Lifting Club - Fitness Center w/Avery

Tues & Thurs 2:30-4:00 pm 

Free for Teens with either a Teen or Family Membersip.

Meet with Avery once or twice a week. Learn proper lifting techniques and proper equipment use, and enjoy twice per week lifting sesh with your buds.

Vinyasa Flow - Group Fitness Studio w/Jill

Mon & Thurs 5-6pm

Come join Jill for an All Levels Vinyasa Flow. A mix of mindful Asana and Breathwork. This practice is fluid, with smooth transitions combining poses in sequences that focus on linking breath to movement. Then brings you back to center with some quiet floor work. Come nourish your mind and body!   

Vin Yin Yoga - Group Fitness Studio w/Jill

Sun 10:00-11:00 am 

Vin/Yin yoga blends Vinyasa Yoga poses with Restorative Yin Yoga. Weaving together thoughtful grounding asanas to awaken the body and chase away fatigue, then adding restorative poses and breathwork to slow us down, quiet our busy minds, and restore your spirit.  

Zumba® - In-Person w/Sara

Tues 6:00-7:00 pm & Thurs 6:15-7:15 pm - Begins March 14

Wanna travel around the world in 60 minutes? Just join Sara's Zumba class! Zumba is a dance fitness class made up of Latin and international rhythms to create a dynamic, calorie-burning workout for all fitness levels and ages. Be taken through a warm-up, tour of rhythms and cultures ranging from merengue, salsa, Brazilian funk, belly dance and MORE! Enjoy a cool down ending with a full body stretch, all in a positive and encouraging environment! Did we mention it feels more like a party than a workout? Shake your way into a healthy lifestyle and positive mindset with Sara!

Enhance Fitness - In-Person and Live w/Jamie on Virtual AYCC

Mon, Wed & Fri 10:00-11:00 am

This evidence-based, hour-long, 3-day per week  program helps older adults at all

levels of fitness become more active, energized, and empowered to sustain

independent lives. You will  improve physical conditioning and decrease risk of

falling using a series of proven cardiovascular and strength building exercises.

Posture & Tone - In-Person and Live w/Jamie on Virtual AYCC

Tues & Thurs 8:00-9:00 am

Uses a variety of light to moderate weights/objects at home along with exercise equipment to strengthen muscles and joints, build bone density, and increase overall fitness. Instruction is modified to fit each participants' current fitness level. This a great class to work on your fitness goals.

Total Body In-Person and Live w/Jamie on Virtual AYCC

Mon, Wed & Fri 8:15-9:15 am

This class is a general strength-at-home class that mixes basic strength training exercises with warmups and cool downs. Upper body, lower body and core are covered throughout the week! This class is for active, older adults.

The Muddy Runner Prep Course - Gronk Zone & Fitness Center w/Jamie

Mon & Fri 7:00-8:00 am AND Wed 2:00-3:00 pm

Ready for MUD season? If not, don't worry. This class will help
you prepare for the muddiest courses around. Join us for fun
"Mud Run" workouts. You'll push, pull, crawl, jump, and
complete a variety of other exercises. It's the perfect class for
first-time mud runners and for those who are avid mud racers.

Spring Personal Training - Gronk Zone & Fitness Center w/Dawn

Personal Training packages begin at $45.00/hour

An amazing workout sure to get your heart pumping. Tailored to your individual needs to get you ready for diving, sliding, fielding, and hitting. Each class is personally designed to help strengthen your core, and add flexibility, agility, and balance.
