Your Alfond Youth & Community Center (AYCC) fitness instructors will guide and motivate you daily with an exclusive collection of LIVE classes, plus recorded classes from other YMCA Group Fitness Instructors too! If you’re an AYCC member, the Virtual AYCC is included in your membership!

What is the Virtual AYCC?

This portal is a new well-being experience for AYCC Members. Participate in live classes from your favorite AYCC instructors from the convenience of your own home.

Active Members ages 13+ with the following membership types:
Teen, Student, Adult, Senior, and Family

All you need is your barcode numbers from the back of your Member Scan Tag. Click the green Login button on this page, enter your barcode number, and voila, you’re in!

Stop by or call the Welcome Center at 207-873-0684 and they will be happy to provide you with the barcode numbers.

For those continuing to join us online, you will no longer need Zoom. Just click the link here, enter your barcode, and click Live Streams or Live Wellness Classes to join Jamie and Maggie’s classes. It’s a similar portal, only better.

Virtual AYCC Class Information
Enhance Fitness - In-Person and Live w/Jamie
Mon, Wed & Fri 10:00 – 11:00 am

This evidence-based, hour-long, 3-day per week program helps older adults at all levels of fitness become more active, energized, and empowered to sustain independent lives. You will improve physical conditioning and decrease risk of falling using a series of proven cardiovascular and strength building exercises.

Tues & Thurs 8:00 – 9:00 am

Uses a variety of light to moderate weights/objects at home along with exercise equipment to strengthen muscles and joints, build bone density, and increase overall fitness. Instruction is modified to fit each participants’ current fitness level. This a great class to work on your fitness goals.

Mon, Wed & Fri 8:15 – 9:15 am

This class is a general strength-at-home class that mixes basic strength training exercises with warmups and cool downs. Upper body, lower body and core are covered throughout the week! This class is for active, older adults.

Tues & Thurs 10:00 – 11:00 am

Chair Yoga consists of gentle and meditative yoga focused on body positive positions. In this class, we will help to assist all participants through adapting a variety of yoga techniques. All levels of experience are welcome to join and participate.

Join LIVE Classes!

There are a few ways to access LIVE Classes.

  1. Click on the Live Wellness Classes in the top menu.
  2. Click on Schedules
  3. Click on the LIVE STREAMS button in the center of the page.

Any one of those three links will take you directly to the schedule and then you will be able to select the class to join.
